This course provides a foundational overview of parasitology, the study of parasites and their interactions with hosts. Students will explore the biology, life cycles, and classification of major parasites affecting humans, animals, and plants. Key topics include parasite morphology, modes of transmission, host-parasite relationships, and the impact of parasitic infections on health and ecosystems. Practical approaches to diagnosis, prevention, and control of parasitic diseases are also introduced.
